It's unique being a coach's kid. Now that I'm playing, Mom's usually with Dad and I'm playing wherever we are in a bowl game. So it's nice being together.

Playing against a former coach has nothing to do with it. We do it the same way whether we're playing Elizabeth City, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, South Carolina State. But it's still early; it's only Wednesday. I decided [to rest it], so what I'll do is go back out [Thursday] and try to get it going again and see how it feels.

I just know what an awesome feeling it is for him. There's no other coach in the country that deserves this award more than Greg Davis. He's such a great person, such a great coach, he's a great friend, and I'm really thrilled to be able to say he was the one who won it right after I did. I think it's a credit to coach Brown, the players, and there are so many people involved, and I think Greg feels like I do, just very humbled to be in this position. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

He's not playing. He got hit (Monday) and he had concussion symptoms again, so he's out. We don't know until he feels better whether he's going to come back or not, but he's certainly not playing Wednesday or Friday, that's for sure.

We're probably going to give him a game ball come Wednesday when the team gets together. Bernard made tackles all over the place and was hustling around, playing his assignments probably as well as anybody on the team.

It feels amazing to win in the regional final, and with the teammates I have. And Connecticut's such a great team. They gave us a game.

Coach Popovich is a very intelligent coach. He must have felt that his team needed to get some emotion while playing the game.

There is nobody else in the game who does the things Walter does. He's just a freak of nature. But for the rest of us humans, we still get our jobs done. I mean, the quality of the players that we have playing on that front five is just amazing.
