 He didn't show anybody up, ... He could've very easily thrown up his arms when we blew two double-play balls.

 We dropped fly balls. I think my shortstop missed six or seven balls. We didn't show up ready to play, they did. They played well. We did not.

 I have a lot of confidence in Mo. If I didn't think Mo could play and do things that we had in the game plan, then I would have thrown more balls.

 We converted just enough but as the play caller tonight, I was somewhat unhappy. There were balls under thrown or thrown in the wrong place. That's three touchdowns, maybe four, taken away by turnovers.

 A sleep. They just weren't very physical, they weren't alive. They didn't get any loose balls and every time we turned around they (Bluff) were trying to double us and we didn't see the open people... they were just not with it. And that type of play will get you beat.

 The bottom line is I blew it. It was a routine double play. I can't look anybody in the eye right now. It was an embarrassment.

 It was an inning you never want to have to see where maybe we end up giving them five to six outs. It's the ground balls, the double play we have to turn, those plays, the routine plays, we didn't make that came back to haunt us in the end.

 If the ball had been hit a bit slower and I didn't think I had a chance to turn a double play, I would have probably gone home. But we've turned double plays all season long and can't change anything you've done this season. If we turned that double play we might be talking about something different.

 One of the balls was batted. The other two balls probably could have been thrown better. But I'm not going to change anything. We're staying with the same structure.

 We still had a chance in both games (in the last inning) to get out of it with double plays when we got ground balls and just didn't come through.

 It wasn't just (Carney). Today I just don't think we came out ready to play. There were some balls that were hit that we didn't make a good effort at. And they were hitting some balls that were outside the zone.

 It feels good. It will be a couple of weeks before I can turn a double play and take balls at shortstop.

 They beat our butts. They showed up. They knew it when they got off the bus. We didn't show up ready to play; they did. Dropped balls; the offensive line play was terrible. No one was good. Coaches were bad; nobody was good. They beat our butts.
