 It was his own fault. He came in overweight and out of shape. He's worked hard the last seven weeks. But he's to blame. Maybe it's a learning experience for him. Maybe he realizes now the big leagues are not easy. You have to work at it to maintain success.

 The guy turned up two or three months ago, totally out of condition and overweight and he just worked and worked and worked so this is really a repayment for some pretty hard work he has put in.

 Congress has really set this thing up in a way that they absolve themselves of blame, ... They have their scapegoats. They can blame the Pentagon. They can blame BRAC. It's hard for voters to say this is Ortiz's fault.

 We've got the talent ... but we're still young and we're still learning. I figure in another couple of weeks, we'll be swinging pretty good. We just need more experience in competition and more hard work.

 Now he realizes in order to maintain some of that excellence that he has, he has to work at it. Really the past couple of years he's worked at his game, and he reaped the benefits last year with those numbers he put up on the board.

 She's really pitching well. This year she started off so much more consistent. She's worked hard. She makes it look easy but she works hard and deserves her success.

 Our defense played hard, we just didn't do anything with our kicking game. It let us down at times, that's my fault. We must not have worked enough on it, but we will work on it.

 That means a lot to me. I've worked my butt off. I don't think people realize how hard I've worked. I think Coach realizes it, and I think that's why he's sticking with me at the end.

 They worked to get into those shooting lanes, they worked to get a body part or a stick in front of the shots. It's how they've had success. They have a ton of skill, but they also work as hard as any team we've seen this year.
