 They are original and ecologically correct furniture. We don't put down trees, but we reuse authentic materials, available to make our pieces.

 We differ from many designers, in that we both have a love of making furniture. There's no gap between the design, the construction, or the materials, because we not only design the furniture, we are the craftsmen who make it.

 We chose pretty much all the furniture. There are a few pieces of furniture that we inherited, but mostly it's all new.

 This is the most complete, original Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house in the world. It has more original furnishings and windows and fixtures. It's important that we have these (renovation) projects, because that will help keep these original historical materials in the best possible condition.

 I designed a coffee table, which was made out of small wooden planks that are otherwise thrown away as waste. I believe in using diverse materials for my furniture. I've also used some materials which were previously used for building ships.

 All items listed for auction will be authentic and autographed. They will be the personal property of the celebrity involved, and the autograph will be a genuine original, not a reproduction. My goal is to provide an opportunity for fans to obtain an authentic celebrity treasure from their favorite star.

 About 95 percent of our furniture is made to order. Our specialty is that we can order furniture to match existing pieces or cabinets.

 We want our furniture to be accessible by everyone, no matter how limited their budget might be. We've found that the prices hit the right mark to make our pieces simply fly out of the warehouse.

 It's like getting the outdoors inside, like getting nature inside your home. We live in a concrete jungle so when we are home we want to stay with nature. Hence, I came up with this kind of furniture. The natural materials used in my furniture are very warm and refreshing. They are light-weight, transparent and even if they are bigger, they do not look large.

 Here, you just can't get good Japanese food; nothing's authentic. I really have to make my own if I want authentic.

 The big inhibitor to reuse is not technical but knowing that something exists already and how to use it. Pockets of reuse are so exceptional that they are not statistically meaningful.

 Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. It is important to reuse our resources. If you don't recycle and reuse things, you may run out of them.

 Janet has been in the art world for many, many years. She has certainly worked with galleries, but the idea of exhibiting in a home furnishings store, which is so in keeping with what she's doing in her paintings, is a wonderful complement and fresh approach, a twist on the exhibit world. At Rodney Hunter, we specialize in teak wood furniture, so her warm tones enliven our pieces, and our furniture, as elegant as it is, elevates her work.

 When you have lemons, make lemonade. Furniture is a wonderful line extension. People who rent don't buy flooring, but they do buy furniture.
