I didn't do the gezegde

 I didn't do the first triathlon but I used pinking shears on muslin to make numbers for the contestants, and I took care of the scoring and the awards ceremony. I have competed in the triathlon as a team member for many years; this year I was the swimmer.

 I still wanted to compete, but I didn't want to spend four hours a day staring at the bottom of a pool. I tried triathlon and immediately I was hooked.

 It's starting to hit home just what I've achieved. It's an awesome feeling. This is my first real season. Last year I tried a triathlon, I liked it so I bought a bike and thought (the worlds) would be a good goal to set.

 We have 45 members doing the Sprint, and the rest are doing the half, ... We're excited about it. It's the big race of the year for most of our members, and for some it's their very first triathlon.

 How do you call a family with three children ? A triathlon !

 I was hooked. I figured if I can do that, an Olympic distance triathlon, then I could do better the more events I did,

 North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. It affected our defense and we got into a rut.

 I first thought about doing a triathlon last summer when I went to New York and watched my cousin participate in one. I thought that the people looked normal, and that it would be a good way to get back into shape. It let me be normal again.

 Emily is a wonderful athlete, she competed well. Michelle competed well at worlds last year. There aren't numbers I can compare there, there are relationships.

 It was a disappointing year for me personally because I didn't perform at any time during the season the way I'm accustomed to performing. But on the positive side, when you consider where I came from, I still rallied out of it to be a contributing member on a good team. This year, being fully healthy, I expect to make more of an impact.

 We're still battling with numbers. We have the same numbers scenario as last year. We're at 23. They will get better next year. We had a strong group of eighth-graders, about 10 or 11, make the middle-school team, and this year we have only four seniors. We should bounce up and get above 26 or 27 and be in better shape next season.
