 Medicare didn't have a good reason.

 Majority Leader Daschle misspoke this morning when he said the Bush administration would dip into Social Security and Medicare funds. The truth, in fact, is that Social Security dollars will be used only for Social Security and Medicare dollars will be used only for Medicare. The only reason for any decline in revenue is due to an economic slowdown that began last September.

 He had a vision for changing our Medicare system, for bringing more people into the reality that our government should be a partner in preventing people from getting sick ... and that was part of our motivation for changing the Medicare system, and we are in the midst of a revolution in Medicare that will, for many, many generations have real results that will be good for America and good for American citizens,

 The real tragedy here is that over the last two years because of the intransigence of the Republicans we didn't really have a budget, we didn't do anything with Medicare, so those numbers are not as good as they could have been.

 I just received notice from my former employer explaining I'd have the option of enrolling in the Medicare Part D plan. I put it aside because I didn't feel like delving into the pros and cons. I'm happy with my coverage and very lax when it comes to reading Medicare material.

 We have every reason to believe that the movement into (Medicare drug plans) will be an economic boost to our underlying business.

 If Al Gore is wondering why he has a problem with credibility, his partisan response to Medicare reform provides yet another reason why.

 Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. In fact, the cost of the private Medicare substitute plans, in the last few years, have gone up twice as much as Medicare itself has. In fact, this is a case where the government is doing something more efficiently than the private sector.
