en This is the second game in a row that we've been involved in a great high school basketball game but we've just been on the short end both times and it's been frustrating. en I thought the key later on in the game was our play in the third quarter. We came out of the locker room and said we were going to make a run. That was the time, and I thought we were there to answer it. We got back on our game early in the third quarter and that is when the game was decided.

en We talked about energy and complacency before the game. We knew how important this game was for both teams. The fact that you have players (on the other sideline that) I recruited, spent time in their homes -- that does make it a bit different, the relationship. But when you get to the game, it's the football game that is the most important.

en Like I said after the game, he's going to catch the ball 99 out of 100 times. He'll pick his game up. He talked to me a little bit after the game and apologized and I just said, 'Don't worry about it, you're a great receiver.' I know he's going to make the play.

en It's not unusual for us to change a game or start a new one. Typically, every game has a life span, and you have what we call game fatigue. We thought it was a good time for a new game that looks and plays differently.

en I felt we played much better than our last game against Minnesota. Before the game we talked about improving each game and getting better each time and we did that today.

en In a game like this, you want to dominate the boards, you want to limit your turnovers and you want to make good shot selections. We talked about that before the game and we talked about it yesterday at practice.
