 I knew it would be a lot like the last three games we had, and we'd have to win it down the stretch. We had a lot of guys step up when AI went down.

 We were down there, especially on those last four downs where it really was on the line, and you look in guys' eyes and you knew they wanted it. You knew guys were going to step up and make plays. I never once doubted that we could finish that game the right way.

 I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. Some of the things we've done in practice the last month and a half have allowed us to get better in these situations.

 We have five games left in league play. We're 6-5 (in the ACC). Obviously it's a tough stretch, but we knew that going in. Surely, we would have liked to win our two home games, but we didn't. That means we just have to find a way on the road.

 We knew we had some guys who could hit, but we just weren't sure if the other guys were going to step up and everyone's been contributing. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. Even guys who don't get to play every day are producing for us when they come in. It's just been a big burden off our shoulders. You don't have to depend on one or two guys to do everything.

 I want the ball in my hands and the team needs me. I knew I had to step up (down the stretch).

 We needed him to step up. He and Eric (Hicks), out of our core, played really well (against Villanova). We didn't get production we needed out of a couple of guys. We were fortunate to be in it down the stretch. It's been different guys on different nights. We've had some guys be more consistent.

 Other guys started talking, and I just shook my head. That kind of gives me a break sometimes, when other guys step up and say things and aren't just looking at me. Other leaders are emerging on this team, and that's something we're definitely going to need, especially going down this last little stretch that we have.

 I don't like players, especially veteran guys, sitting over there not playing for a stretch of games, ... I think it's important to keep guys involved.

 We have to avoid becoming stagnant. We knew at some point Orlando would hit a stretch where they hit shots. We also knew that when that happened we had to keep the ball moving on offense and not slow it down and get into isolation plays. That bogged us down in recent games. I thought we did a good job of staying away from that.

 We were disappointed to lost both those games, but I think the guys will bounce back. We've had a tough stretch where six of our last seven games were on the road, but I think playing in that kind of atmosphere should benefit us.

 It makes it easier if you can play both guys. If you get a guy hurt or especially if you get one called up, you know you can stick with a guy for four or five games. Right now, we're just trying to make sure both guys are competing down the stretch.

 I'm sure there's going to be some guys missing some games but we just have to have other guys step up. You have to get through it. Stay positive and pick up your game. We're a strong group of guys in here who can get through it. We know we can.

 We're starting a stretch of games against the kind of teams we would play deeper in the tournament. This is a difficult stretch of games coming up and it will help us down the road.

 I knew the caliber of players that we had on this team. And I knew that our guys were going to come together and step up when we needed to. We know what we lost and we know what we have. We have to work with what we have and that's all that we can do. And we've done a great job of doing it.
