 Our customers have expressed interest in being able to choose renewable resources and I'm pleased that we will now be able to offer them that choice. Green Mountain Power's overall power mix is already low in fossil fuels, but under our new program, customers can choose 100 percent renewable resources. We've called the program 'Greener Mountain Power' to reflect that greener choice.

 This Top 10 list is a robust list of marquee American colleges and universities that are buying significant amounts of green power. We are delighted to see how the University at Buffalo is driving demand for new, renewable energy power plants through their voluntary green power purchases.

 Renewable power mandates merely accentuate the inefficiency and cost premiums attached to so-called renewable power sources. If renewable power saved consumers money, created jobs, or carried any of the other economic benefits so frequently claimed by environmental activists, then government would not have to pass a law to force power companies to purchase it or consumers to buy it.

 Our work has only begun. In our time we have an historic opportunity to shape a global balance of power that favors freedom and that will therefore deepen and extend the peace. And I use the word power broadly, because even more important than military and indeed economic power is the power of ideas, the power of compassion, and the power of hope.

 We have long been committed serving the communities in which our employees and clients live and work. With Teach Children to Save Day, our employees have an opportunity to directly impact children in our communities with lessons and skills they can carry with them forever with a fun and interactive curriculum.

 We made progress today before being hit with the third storm, which knocked power out to more customers. It's been a huge impact. Earlier it was the Bay Area and northern counties that lost power, today it was the central coast in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties, and in San Luis Obispo, more than 20,000 are without power.

 As the largest private consumer of wind power, Fort Collins' own New Belgium Brewing Company has proven how businesses can make a difference in their communities by supporting clean, renewable wind power.

 Nevada stepped forward with a diversified renewable energy program that addressed solar and renewable power. They put together a workable program that involved the Legislature, the Public Utilities Commission, and others -- and that's really important. You have to have support. You have to have a program that you know will work. That's what we did here. All of those bodies came together and made it happen.

 Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

 Sustainable development is a benchmark of our policies. We want to have sustainable communities that thrive. We have power and we have water, and we have all those things that are an artifact of our mining operation.

 Wal-Mart Canada is demonstrating its leadership through this multi-year purchase of green power. By supporting clean, renewable power in Ontario, Wal-Mart is taking meaningful action to reduce its carbon footprint and help combat the environmental and health consequences of air pollution in the province.

 The record-breaking purchase of wind power by Whole Foods shows how easy it is to support the development of a clean, safe, domestic, renewable source of electricity like wind with the simple power of the pocketbook.

 Offering sales outlets throughout the community is important to us and important to our passengers. Making riding the bus convenient and easy is one of our goals. U.S. Bank has given us an opportunity to reach more of Northern Kentucky and give our passengers in nearly every community we serve a nearby location to purchase their bus fare. And hopefully, having bus passes in each branch will give U.S. Bank the opportunity to turn some of our customers into U.S. Bank customers.

 For a long time the Orthodox community has found opportunities to work on common goals with faith communities across the spectrum. We work on an array of issues, and also have our disagreements with evangelicals -- and with Reform Jews, for that matter.
