Teams from time to time under every CBA we've ever had have had nights where they couldn't suit 20 healthy players. There's still enough flexibility as you make appropriate assignments and recalls. There is the benefit of the long-term injury exception and teams get the benefit of that and cushion of that. But injuries are more significant under this type of system. So far, we have not experienced an issue with teams not having the ability to make call-ups.

Our partnership with NASN represents a significant step by the league to re-establish its relationship with its existing European-based fans, as well as begin the process of developing new ones.

We rescheduled this game because so many fans and Panthers employees have left the area, and because we want to ensure safe travels into and out of Florida for the teams and the officials. We thank the Senators and Panthers for their cooperation.

Any suggestion that Bryan's positive test means that we have some widespread problem in the National Hockey League, I would suggest, is a faulty assumption.

It does nothing to change the fact that the use of steroids is not a pervasive problem facing the National Hockey League.

It's two totally different jurisdictions. The bottom line is Bryan has not tested positive as part of the program the league instituted. Bryan appears to have ingested the substance in question before the program was even in place.

We do not yet consider the matter closed. We are hopeful to be able to sit down with the Russian federation in the next several days to discuss whatever concerns they might have in entering into a new agreement.

We still believe that the framework we have had in place for the last 10 years now has served the sport of hockey well.
