I've basically just been working hard. I've been getting up in the morning, going to class, or getting up in the morning, going to work out. When I'm done with class, I'm going to the gym. When I'm done with the gym, I'm going to class.

I'm very excited that somebody's taking a chance on me and giving me the opportunity to go out there and show what I can do.

It doesn't matter to me as long as I get on the field. I am just trying to go out there and play as hard as I can, and have the opportunity to play.

I would like to find out how you prepare to take on this task. He definitely opened the door up a little bit wider than what it was. I definitely have to thank him for doing what he has done.

During the seventh round (of the draft), I spoke to my agent and he told me a few teams were interested. The Giants were the only ones that came at me hard and I felt comfortable going with them. They told me I'd be a tight end or an offensive tackle. It doesn't matter to me (which position I play) as long as I get on the field.

We wanted that No.1 spot. We came out with great intensity and it started with our defense.

We just have to keep our poise and we knew that we could comeback from anything.

Every since I've been here, we've been at the bottom of the totem pole in this area, with Maryland, GW and Georgetown. We don't get much publicity, so we're enjoying it right now. We're trying to make it last.

It's the CAA versus the Missouri Valley [Conference]. We're fighting to get two bids to the NCAA. That's our main goal to go out there and represent the CAA.

The game of basketball is 40 minutes, we knew we still had time. Once we finally got to our game plan we were able to come out on top.

It's been crazy and hectic. A lot of people calling, coming up and asking for tickets. I don't have any more. We only get four, and they're going to my immediate family.

I think all mid-major schools are being doubted right now. But as far as us, we're No. 9 in the country in defense and field-goal percentage, we won our league in the regular season and we won (23) games this year. I think we deserve it.

We just used that as motivation. We deserved it.
