We are very excited with the way Aaron pitched. He had a no-hitter going in the fifth. Andy did a nice job for us on the end of our road trip and was outstanding in the last few innings (Wednesday).

We needed to get back on the diamond before we head to Dakota State.

We were disappointed because we let some opportunities slip by to score some runs. The win, though, was good for our young ball club. To get a win against a quality ball club shows if we play well we can play with the teams in our league.

We had a chance to win but it just didn't happen.

We're happy with the progress we've made so far. We've been in most of the ball games we've played. We're disappointed we weren't able to close some of them out and get wins. That's frustrating, but we know we're headed into the right direction.

A strength of our team is that we do have a few guys hitting the ball well. We hit metal all through the spring trips. If we are aggressive at the plate, hitting can be a strength.

We've got to have our pitching keep us in games. Guys are still finding out what their roles are. We need to get more games in to get them that experience.

These are college baseball players. You leave the ball over the plate, they're going to make you pay.

We're happy they're willing to sponsor us since we couldn't get sponsorship here.

One of our goals is to not get swept at home. They came out and battled in the second game. They showed passion and heart. These are the Beavers that I know want to play hard.

This is what we have been looking for. He came out with a great attitude and threw strikes. He had a lot of confidence and the defense behind him.

We wanted to give Tim a try. He's been pitching well. We thought it was a good situation.

It feels really good. We're trying to let everyone know that we're changing the program. It's good for the fans to see the progress we've made over the course of the season.

The first game was probably the best game we've played all year. We want our pitchers to go out with confidence and challenge hitters.

Tim does a great job. He dares you to hit the ball.
