You see somebody throw a cigarette butt out the window? That's littering. We want to know about it.

My son's girlfriend (in Washington state) recently got a littering fine (cigarette wrapper out the car window, observed by state trooper) - $1,000.00! Probably couldn't generate that much concern for the environment in our legislature.

People throw cigarette butts out their car window. With it being this dry, it could start a fire. It's best to use your ashtray.

Littering is a crime, but they're not enforcing the law. We need to educate the youths on why littering is bad and the effect litter has on neighborhoods.

It gives people the power to say 'I just witnessed littering and I don't like littering in my community. I'm going to turn this over and see if I can get this stopped.

A cigarette butt is something that will stay around a lot longer than you will. This is a really bad product for yourself, the people around you and the environment.

Listening to a news broadcast is like smoking a cigarette and crushing the butt in the ashtray.
