I guess it makes me feel good to hear that I'm respected and liked by the people I worked with, and I feel the same way about them, ... It's bittersweet because it makes you feel ... it reminds you how difficult it is to leave. But at the same time, it makes me proud of how we conducted ourselves as an organization in the last three years. They were two of the better ones for sure. They gained the respect of the other coaches in the league. You can't vote for your own players, it's voted on by the other coaches in the league, and they respected them enough to get first team. It's pretty tough to get on that team.

He's doing fine. He just has to keep playing, become more familiar, ... He just makes plays. He has the right fit. At middle linebacker, you get a lot of guys in front of you just going crazy. He knows where he is. He solidifies the defensive front; there are not a lot of gaps in there. Then he makes plays. He's got good ball skills in pass coverage. He's around the football. Now he's just got play some more.

Coaches have an understanding how good this league is and it makes it tough to schedule up. The strength of our league has been our parity.

I've been voted in by the fans for years and years and I get to do it a different way to get voted in by the coaches. That makes me feel good. It makes me think the coaches appreciate what I bring to the table night in and night out this past year.

Danny handles the staff extremely well. His defensive skills are second to none. And his ability to throw is as good as there is in our league. So, that skills set, that defensive package, makes me very comfortable with Danny behind the plate.

This league combines real good players with great coaches. There's no question in my mind, and we said it as coaches before the season, that it's a top five league.

I think Rick is one of the most, if not the most respected coaches in the league. So, for us to come in here after losing the last three years to them was huge. We're playing well and we just can't let the team slip.

It is, in a way. It?s like (the coaches) probably like what?s going on with the defensive line right now. But I feel very good about how they trust in my ability to play in the games and stuff.
