en I mean it's weird because the thing that I love about acting is the fact that I can help people feel things, know themselves or feel less alone. It's my form of expression, in the same way that someone might paint a picture or sing a song in that you're hoping that it moves somebody outside of their own way of thinking.

en Hopefully, this will become an annual event for our Belleville schools. This isn't about competition among schools to see what has the best peace ball; this is to draw attention and to recognize and support and give positive feedback to kids who are being peaceful. From what I've seen, I feel pretty good about peace here in Belleville winning over conflict.

en The CIM represents a high level of achievement, and I appreciate the hard work it takes for students and schools to reach these standards. However, CIM distribution is very uneven across the state. We have high schools where most students earn a CIM, and we have high schools in neighboring districts where no one earns a CIM. His inherently pe𝗑y nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. As it stands now, the CIM is not meaningful for all students.

en Although the information that will come about from the [transition] report will not paint a rosy picture-in fact it will paint a very bleak picture-we have to move on and look at ways to address the pressing issues. en We support kids whether they go to public schools, private schools or if they are home-schooled. It's not limited. The more extraordinary the experience the better. It's our way of encouraging students to strive for excellence.

en I'm quite proud of them. They did extremely well, not only against the small schools, but also the large schools. Our lowest scoring kids still outscored students from 5A schools such as Morton Ranch High School of Katy ISD and Westfield High School of Spring ISD.

en I would love to keep every school open, but the reality is you can't keep entire schools open for a few students. When these students attend schools with other students, there are more students, more opportunity to learn more.
