[The body is] a marvelous machine...a chemical laboratory, a power-house. Every movement, voluntary or involuntary, full of secrets and marvels!

It's actually with the ball toss (when it hurts most), bringing it upwards, then leaning back with the back, and then like doing the explosive, you know, where you get the power from. Lucky, I have pretty strong arms. I can sort of compensate a little bit like that. If I can't rotate or use my full body weight, which every other player normally does, you use your movement and your body to produce power in your strokes. But now I'm doing a lot just with my arm in a lot of positions. That's something that, you know, is probably not the perfect way to play tennis. But for me that's good enough now.
Clijsters Gains
I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.

This site screamed out for a house . It's such a marvelous location ... from the topography of the site, to the shape of the site, everything said to me: This is where I should try and build a house. We have the river; we have the marvelous rice terraces which we can see from our decks.
Martin Smyth
We hoped to achieve our goals through attrition, reduced hiring and other voluntary means. Despite our best efforts, it became clear that getting to our targets required a number of involuntary separations.
Jim Padilla
We are still assessing the full impact of the damage we have inflicted. However, it is already clear we have inflicted substantial damage on Saddam's chemical and biological war machine and set back his ambition to threaten his neighbors,
George Robertson
The ignorant man marvels at the exceptional; the wise man marvels at the common; the greatest wonder of all is the regularity of nature

A baby is God's opinion that life should go on. Never will a time come when the most marvelous recent invention is as marvelous as a newborn baby. The finest of our precision watches, the most super-colossal of our supercargo planes don't compare with a newborn baby in the number and ingenuity of coils and springs, in the flow and change of chemical solutions, in timing devises and interrelated parts that are irreplaceable.

We had to take the difficult step today of conducting involuntary separations because we weren't able to meet our cost-cutting objectives solely through voluntary separations,

Scientists want full proof under laboratory conditions. And the answer is very simple: When I'm put under pressure, I can't perform. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. Even the phenomenon I'm most known for. When I'm on stage, I'm not under pressure and it happens. In other important places, it happens. But in a laboratory where I really want it to happen, it's very hard for me.

It's the first time we've been inside the earthquake machine. We've looked at the fossil earthquakes, we've made computer models, and we've made laboratory earthquakes. We've studied them from afar, but we've never been inside the machine where the action is.
Bill Ellsworth
Everything you'll ever need to know is within you; the secrets of the universe are imprinted on the cells of your body. But you haven't learned how to read the wisdom of the body
Dan Millman
In order to prove whether it was voluntary or involuntary, you must have access to Ms. Hamm or a psychologist who can talk to Ms. Hamm. When we filed the motion, we believed that would be forthcoming and we would have that access.
