en The short answer is that there might be more organizations going to the ballot initiative because they can't get their issues before the Legislature. Either that or they don't agree with what the Legislature has done. Either way, the reason we're doing our initiative is it won't get done by the Republican Legislature.

en This dovetails nicely because the goals put forward by the California Climate Action Team are consistent with the goals of the California Clean Energy Initiative. Our measure provides the state a funding mechanism to make those goals a reality.
