Whoever hits their routines will take it. I still say the beam will determine it.

They have both done really well. (In this meet), they hit all their routines, minus beam. For whatever reason, (this meet) wasn't our day to do beam.

We had a couple of falls on beam but both were on new skills that we've added to routines. We're disappointed with that but it is understandable. I think we can get by that and be better in the future.

The team as a whole had a solid performance. We just had a few bobbles, but we had fairly consistent routines on the balance beam and the uneven bars.

They came out of there with a swagger I haven't seen before, and they've kept it all week. Our goal is for us to hit 24 routines and be close enough to put pressure on Georgia when they're on the last event on the balance beam.

Having Karen in the gym has been such a huge plus for us because she is so good at the choreography and dance and the look of the routines on beam and floor. She is a also a Level 10 judge, so she is able to tell the girls what the judges look for and where certain deductions come.

Last week we missed seven of the last twelve routines of the day between beam and floor. I know that the people who missed want another shot.

Hey, beam is beam. She hasn't fallen off the beam in a long time. You know she's not a machine. ... We'll move on.

We're looking solid in everything else, but in gymnastics the beam is the make or break event. South Burlington stayed on beam more than us and deserved the overall win. But we showed that when we stay on the beam we will be tough to beat.

We had three strong events today. We looked good on vault, bars and beam. On floor, the training caught up to us. Our legs weren't there. I am extremely proud of the way we competed out of the blocks to start the season. We still have a long way to go. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements. We watered down some routines as far as difficulty and skill.

(The beam) is the make or break event. If you don't stay on, nobody's going anywhere. We've really been focusing on whatever it takes to stay on the beam. They were really big beam scores. We have to be realistic when we go to sectionals; I don't know if we'll see those scores again.

We knew it was going to be close. But we had really good routines on Saturday. All the girls had probably some of their best routines. We were consistent, I guess you would say.

Our gymnastics are good enough to qualify if we hit our routines. If we miss our routines, we could easily eliminate ourselves.

Their routines are prepared because they're the routines they used at sectionals. This week we might upgrade them, or we may not. You have to give it your all at the state competition. There's no holding back.
