en Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, / But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: / To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. en Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; / Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, / But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: / Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

en And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled / In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: / If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; / Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: / Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; / Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: / To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: / Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: / Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

en We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; / So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: / Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: / Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; / And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, / In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: / Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; / When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

en I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; / That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: / Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; / Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

en Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; / And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: / To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, / According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: / In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

en Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, / Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
