Michigan has always been my favorite track. It just has everything going for it. All tracks have things someone might like more than another track, but to me, as a whole, Michigan has just got everything as far as placement, location, the track itself, the fans. A little bit of everything just seems like it goes a long way there. It's always a treat to go to Michigan, and when you run good there it helps. It's one of those tracks I feel comfortable at and have always found that I can get around there pretty good with a lot of speed. I'm looking forward to doing both the Cup and Busch events this weekend. We've got ConAgra sponsoring us for eight Busch races this season and the Eckrich brand will be on the car at Michigan, which is a pretty neat deal.

It was nice to see so many different kids score points for us. We finished second and third behind West in a lot of races. West is a very talented track team, so we did a pretty good job.

Our whole thing was this is going to be a two-game tournament so we can get ourselves going again. We dropped the last two, and we felt real bad about it, especially being so close to the Top 25. Now, we got Dayton coming in here, GW coming in here. Both of them are real good teams. We didn't want to just get back on track with some mediocre teams. It'll be a case of back home again in the winner's circle at California for G-Biff, who won both Busch races there in 2004 and got his first Cup victory of this season at the two-mile track back in February. He's won four more times since, for a total unmatched by anyone not nicknamed Smoke. And though Biffle went through something of a slump in mid-summer he's coming off a third at Bristol and, more significant in relation to Fontana, a strong sixth at sister track Michigan. Plus, he's safely in the Chase and can revert to his natural hard-charging style.

Chicago is a lot like the other 1.5 mile ovals that we've run this year. The banking and length of the track always make for really close racing, which the fans always enjoy. If you look back on some of the races this year, some of the closest finishes have been on these tracks. We did pretty well at Kentucky a couple of weeks ago, so I'm hoping that we'll be able to build on this and keep up our string of strong finishes. I always enjoy going to Chicago because there's always a lot to do away from the track. From having great dinners to shopping, I always have a good time there.

It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. It's pretty wide and very smooth, and there are lots of places to pass. There are probably 10 good passing spots on this track. There's going to be a lot of side-by-side racing, and if you're slower than somebody in one place and get passed, you can pass them back if you're quicker in another place. You can get lost here more than at other tracks. It's definitely a fun race track.

Texas is a great place to do a track. You've got good weather year-round. It's a good location. Texas has a lot of energy. People are progressive here.

If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

Paul paid a pretty good chunk for his 55 percent. We're looking at the Illinois Derby and the Wood because we think he could be that kind of horse. While the sale was going through, he didn't go to the track for a few days, and he had a nuclear scan. We put him through a lot. For us to run, it was pretty ambitious. He showed how much guts and determination he has.

For us to come out and put up 42 points, that's the Rams of old. That's what we're used to doing. It's good to get back on track and put up 42 points again.

When he's good now, I know what he needs to do. At the beginning of the season last year, I didn't know how to get him back on track. Now I know when he's good, what he does. I have a pretty good understanding of the things he wants to do.
