en Sometimes you wonder if you need it to be a roller coaster-type of game. We got ourselves back in the game and somehow found a way to let it slip away.

en (Wednesday) was definitely a roller-coaster day. It was a close game, and then they tied it up with Bobby's big home run. Then they come back and scored and put us down. Willy not giving up and running all the way through the base gave us a chance. That was a nice game right there.

en This is sort of like on a roller coaster ride for him — this is a very dramatic game. He is into this, this is part of his lifestyle now.

en We didn't come out playing really well from the start. We were on a roller coaster for much of the game. We were happy, sad, frustrated, you name it.

en Enthusiasm is NOT the same as just being excited. One gets excited about going on a roller coaster. One becomes enthusiastic about creating and building a roller coaster.

en It was a roller-coaster ride in terms of starting out 5-0 and then struggling at the end, but then regaining focus and composure in the last two games. It's a shame this one goes down in the loss column. But if you look at the effort and the focus in the Virginia Tech game and last night, certainly it was dramatically different than what we saw during the three-game losing streak.
