I lost my footing ordspråk

en There's a watch change at two in the morning, ... So seven people who have been on deck for four hours in immense waves and windchill get to go down below. They're covered in sleet. They're bruised. They're exhausted. And they've got four hours before they're due back on deck. They clamber out of their dry suits. They lay out their moldy sleeping bags on the bunks on the high side of the boat, and they get in. They've already used up 30 minutes. After another half hour, the wind shifts, and the guys on deck need to tack the boat. That means the guys down below have to wake up, grab their sleeping bags, walk across the boat, and lay out on the other side. Now they've lost even more sleep.

en I believe that the captain started to try to steer into the waves from this speedboat. When he turned, the left side of our boat, and the front of the boat, started to take on water. This caused the boat to roll over very quickly, throwing everyone into the water.

en The sailor turned the boat around abruptly. It tilted to the right and in 15 seconds slammed into the water. Everybody who was on the upper deck was thrown into water.

en The pillars broke off and ripped through the side of the boat, and literally began tearing out the entire side of the boat where people were standing, waiting to get off, ... We all jumped from our seats and began running for our lives in the middle of all this debris, and people screaming and falling over each other.

en The walls are literally windows on one side. The deck is a feature everyone appreciates. Even if you never use it, you have the feeling of more space and more options.

en The largest boat we've stored is a 54-foot one that's been kept on the water. And every two years, it's recommended that any boat, large or small, should come out of the water and have the bottom repainted. We can do maintenance on the underwater gear of the boat at that time, too.

en I am throwing more combinations in my sparring and in my workouts - hitting the bag, things like that. My footing is changing a little bit, so my footing is getting a lot better, where I can let the combinations go fast and go rapidly, and a lot.

en We have seen 60 or more animals in Moss Landing Harbor near the boat launch. If fishermen are speeding out of the north harbor in the dark at 5 a.m., the likelihood of boat strikes is fairly high.

en Not that there is anything funny about the whole thing, but there is some humor in seeing all these toys thrown around. Those who can afford to have a boat aren't at risk because we lost our boat. Some people lost everything, but you can feel the power of the storm out here because things were strewn in ways you can't imagine.
