en America's natural gas companies have been fined over two-billion dollars in the last three years for manipulating natural gas markets. This clearly shows that we do not have an adequate regulatory framework over natural gas markets, and we feel there is market manipulation continuing today in the United States.

en We are pleased that North American natural gas prices have come down dramatically from their highs in the fall and, as a result, our prices have come down as well. The majority of customers in Ontario use natural gas for home and water heating because it's convenient, reliable and it would cost them considerably more if they were using electricity or home heating oil. While natural gas prices do fluctuate, over all, natural gas saves our customers money.

en Record-high U.S. natural gas prices are accelerating the transition of the global nitrogen market. Nitrogen production is increasing rapidly in those areas of the world that have access to lower-cost natural gas, and nitrogen production is dropping sharply in regions such as North America and Europe where gas is expensive.
