en We're going to have to play well and keep getting better. We want to make a run at the end of the year, so we have to use these games to prepare ourselves for that. Hopefully we can win them in the process. We're going to go after them.

en We shot extremely well. You have to make shots. It's hard to win four games in four days when you have one or two bad shooting nights. And you have to prepare to play four games, not just one.

en Playing these games helps you some with recruiting and with seeing the level you need to play at to make the NCAA tournament. But you really need to play one or two - not six or seven games like we have this year.

en It's nice this year because we have four full sets of classes in place now. It was a bit challenging last year without seniors. One thing I'd like to see this year is for us to take the next step. Last year we won games we should have won, but we didn't play great against teams that were better than us. This year we need to play better in the big games.

en I think the time has really benefited Matt. To know he's the starter, he was able to take the reigns of the team and prepare that way. We have great confidence in him as a quarterback. He's done very well in the games he's played in this year, and we think he'll play well against Miami.

en It's not good, but what we're doing now is trying to prepare for next year. That's the reality. We have 17 games to go. I was just focusing on trying to win at least one of these games on the road.

en It's fun. It's one of those games that will test your ability. I was watching that '60 Minutes' piece about Michael Jordan. And I understood what he was saying about wanting to go out on a limb, and then you want to win. . . . You've done everything you can in your career to prepare yourself to play in games like this. This is where you want to be.

en I hope he wants what I want. I hope he wants to win games, make his teammates better. That's the only thing that really matters. I heard he wants to play like Allen. I heard he wants us to play like Phoenix. I don't get caught up in that. I thought he was playing great and if he plays like he played before he got hurt we'll win games next year.
