We have more depth this, we're healthier and I feel like we're not drained physically and emotionally. Last year by the time we got to the Sweet 16, all games through out the year banged us up and we had two very tough games in the early rounds and it just wore on us. I felt like we had nothing left in our tanks by the time we got to the Sweet 16 last year.

(Willie) is probably stronger and in better condition than he during any time that he played those last five games. I think he'll be a better player mentally and physically than he was a year ago. It's tough when you don't play and then it's time to get back in the swing of things. We won 15 games last year and the starters didn't play much at end. That was tough to get back into the flow. We've had four or five games this year that mattered down the stretch, which is why we're playing well.

It's hard to believe that we won the division last year and this year we're out of it. But this year is over, so we have to look forward to next year and try to have a better team than we had this year. It's frustrating to know you have three games left and then you go home.

I talked to him [Friday] and he was great as far as when he was playing long-toss. I feel better about him this year than I did last year. We've got to win as many games as we can and hope we get some help, because we definitely don't control our own destiny. But there are a lot of games left to be played. This time of year, we've just got to keep winning.

We had a lot of point-blank chances. We had a couple of bad bounces against us early, but you have to overcome those things at this time of year. There's no use dwelling on it, there's no time to sit here and talk about our bad luck with three games left. We have to find ways to overcome it.

Hopefully, nobody is taking the Sweet 16 for granted. Last year was tough on me. We left with a bitter taste, getting knocked out in the first round. We wanted to get back and we have.

Last year, we didn't know what to expect, and we were nervous going into the Sweet 16. This year, we know it's another game and that we have to do what we've done all year to be successful. We're excited for the chance to improve on last year's results.

We just got blown out in some games and that's not going to happen this year. I can't put a number on how many games we'll win this year, but we will be more competitive. Our kids have made a commitment to the weight room that they will be there 80 percent of the time in the summer and 90 percent of the time for our linemen.

Last year was one of those years you'd like to kind of forget. Last year was kind of a tough year emotionally and physically.
