The problem was that it was very difficult to deal with the special prosecutor's investigation of the CIA leak. While it was going on we decided not to put me on the air. After the Libby indictment they extended the prosecutor's term, so I never went back on the air.

Mr. Libby has served his country for a long time and deserves his day in court. The burden lies on Mr. Fitzgerald to prove his case, not on Mr. Libby to prove his innocence.

At some point, you either agree to agree or agree to disagree and press forward with the legal process.

He said he was to pilot a fifth plane and then he declined to answer other questions. He said the government would have to agree to a deal first.
