en We played with much better energy than yesterday. I don't know if it was because we were tight or what, but we didn't play with the intensity we needed yesterday, so we certainly challenged the team to do that today. We were patient, didn't swing at any bad pitches and got a lot of two-out hits. For our team to be successful that's what we need to do.

en We started slow and coach told us that we can't get out of a slump if we don't swing the bats. When we've been more aggressive at the plate, good things have happened for us.

en We didn't swing the bats at all today. We got the big hit there by Joe but we didn't create many opportunities, and we were dodging bullets all day.

en We just didn't play well today. We came out looking flat and just didn't swing the bats well.
