en I was proud of the way our young guys fought, the ones who are kind of hanging by an edge, trying to make this football team. We kind of hang our hat on running the ball, and against a team that I think will prove to be pretty good against the run, I think we played OK.

en You can't think about a small ballpark. You have to keep the ball down. That's what you must do in the game. Everybody said the ball flew out in Cincinnati, but it's a good field. I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

en We are a very small team, so we rely on ball control to fuel our fire.

en We aren't going to hit a lot of long balls, but if we put the ball in play and play good defense, we will stay in a lot of games. I expect us to bunt a lot and score most of our runs playing small ball. We have good team speed, which is a plus.

en Absolutely everyone can improve, and the veterans especially, in setting that kind of precedent that we don't make those little mistakes, that we don't fumble the ball, that we don't get unnecessary penalties. We kind of try to set a higher standard for everybody where the team benefits more. We can all do that.
