Cory has been a ordspråk

en Cory has been a consistent offensive player throughout his NHL career. He was a key member of Tampa Bay's power play, and we will look for him to do the same for our team.

en Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

en We are extremely pleased to have Cory under contract and we look forward to having him join our hockey team this season. Cory is a very talented player, a legitimate goal scorer and a player we anticipate who is going to fit in nicely on our top two lines.

en I don't know if there's a more improved player in our section this year that Cory. He has shown that he can dribble, pass and shoot, which is everything you need to do to become a strong offensive player.

en Did we expect him to be on our No. 1 power-play unit at this stage of the season? Maybe, but only as an interim thing or if we needed a spark or whatever. Certainly he's secured himself as an offensive player on our team.

en We are thrilled to get a player in Chris who has been very consistent throughout his career. He is the ultimate professional with tons of experience. He has worked very hard over the course of his career and is very versatile because he can play on either the left or the right. He is a great addition to our club.

en And all of a sudden, you've got a nice offensive team with a couple of additions, ... So, we're Baldelli and another bat away from being a team I think can generate some consistent offense all year and have some speed and considerable power.

en I told him when I became general manager that I want him here for a career. I want him to be like a Steve Yzerman that we win a couple of championships here and at the end of his career his sweater is retired to the rafters and he is a Tampa Bay Lightning player for life.

en He has been our most consistent two-way player all year, and I can use him in any situation. He's an excellent offensive player with great speed and he is unbelievably strong on the puck. He cares about the team's success and winning more than individual stats. He's an important part of our club and he deserves the recognition he is getting.

en He's an excellent offensive player. He's the catalyst on Colorado's power play.

en Growing up, I was always an offensive player. I was drafted in the first round in Buffalo. Just my role changed when I got to this level. Right now, it feels good to contribute offensively. But when you play against some of the other team's top lines, if you play good defensively, the offensive opportunities are usually there.

en Ben has done a pretty good job for us. He's got great offensive instincts. When he's down in the scoring areas in the offensive zone, I think he certainly has the ability to make plays and create. And I think he's got good instincts on the power play as well. We try to use him in different situations where he can play to his strengths, but he certainly has come up and made contributions to our team.

en We need to find a level of play on offense where we're more consistent — find a more consistent level of offensive output. And we need to continue to see our team develop in our defensive effectiveness and our rebounding.

en The 1990s were a time of rapid technological change, and Pex embodied a calm approach to it all.

en He thanked me for giving (Cory) an opportunity to play. He told me how important it was to (Cory) that he played.

en They told me to just come down here and play consistent defense. Then I'll be back [in Tampa Bay].
