en What we've been doing is using data to make instructional decisions. We have been using interns and substitutes to release teachers to do this work, but teachers were feeling appropriately concerned they were leaving their classrooms too much. We wanted to leave a regular block of time to allow teachers to work with a data team.

We would never take a loan from our teachers to give it to another union. That is totally ridiculous.

en Another deal with Delphi is likely forthcoming, but probably not before Mar. 30, posing risk of Delphi motions (to nullify contracts) and starting the union contract cancellation process.

en I think the season is done. I don't see how this can be resolved next September. Their strategy is to break the will of the union and impose a salary cap and I don't think that's going to work. I'm convinced there won't even be a training camp next year. They are going to try to delay this as much as possible. We are telling players who want to play in Europe to get ready and find work over there.
