en In the Super-dome, it wasn't good at all. They didn't have any running water, no electricity. It was jam-packed with people. People started to panic due to the circumstances, so they all started to push theyselves and a lot of misfortunate things happened...

en We've really had a good second half of the season. Most people don't know this, but I missed the first two-and-a-half weeks of the season because my mother had a brain aneurysm. We used Christmas break as my preseason. We worked hard putting things in. That's when they really started to learn my system. Things started clicking. We started competing and then lately we've learned how to win. Hopefully that will continue.

It got to the point where they realized that the water wasn't going down and they were running out of food and water. It was extremely hot - it still is - and there wasn't any power. People were saying, 'Save us.'

en People who I thought didn't care, you know, white people, they started expressing their sorrow. They came down and hugged us. Some of them started even crying. Even the older ones, they came and said, 'Come worship at our church.

en We stepped up on defense and started denying people the ball. We started getting rebounds and running the floor.

en On Sunday, everything was fine, we had electricity, water and air conditioning, ... On Monday, we lost electricity. By Tuesday the water was coming in through the holes in the roof, the electricity and air conditioning were off and toilets were beginning to back up. People were getting frustrated.
