I think Gray made ordspråk

en I think Gray made me a better player. I think we made each other better. The first game, he shut me down. The second game, I kind of took away something from him. And the third game, we both scored a little bit, but he got the better of it in the Big East tournament.

en Obviously this was an incredible Big East battle. We just said to ourselves, this is BIG EAST game No. 1 - it tells you what this league will be like...Timely shots by Allan Ray, Jason Frazier and Dante Cunningham kept us in the game. Every time Louisville made runs at us, those guys made big plays. Game number one in the Big East, that's what it's going to be like.

en It was a great region game. We made a mistake and they scored, they made one and we scored. It was that kind of game.

en They're the best team in the Big East right now. They know how to win. It's a huge game. In the Big East, you can't afford too many losses. There are so many tough teams. West Virginia is at the top. That's our goal, so we're going to have to beat them. It's a big game. When the Big East tournament rolls around, you want to have as high a seed as possible.

en She played a great game. I thought Erica was definitely the player of the game. Early on when we scored against their zone, I think she was the one who made it happen, finding the seams in the zone, and I though she played huge for us.

en I never close my practices and I shut it down on Friday. I was really excited about the way that they came out and responded. Alan Daniels was the difference tonight. He made some shots that we contested, but he made the shots. I told the guys in the locker room that I do not know what is going to happen from here on out, but we have to treat our next game as a tournament good.

en She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh.

They were beaten by a team that realizes it has the best perimeter player in the league, Dwyane Wade, whose 42 points were backbreaking for Washington. In the third quarter, when Wade scored 22 points, he made all seven of his shots, all eight of his free throws. Nobody in the game under 6 feet 10 is as good as Wade is right now. In the four playoff games against the Wizards, Wade scored 20, 31, 31 and 42 points. He averaged eight assists and seven rebounds. Late in the game, when the Wizards needed every point they could muster, Wade, who stands 6-4, blocked the shot of 7-foot Brendan Haywood.] I want the ball in my hands, ... I want to make plays for the guys. I got in that matrix [in the third quarter]. I felt like I couldn't miss.

en He's an awesome player and all I as thinking about before the game was that 44 points he scored and how I was going to shut him down. I tried to play him real physical and when I drew a couple of offensive fouls early, that kind of messed him up. Tonight just wasn't his night.

en Andre and I have always gotten along really well and pushed each other to be great players. He's made me a better player, and I hope I've done the same for him. We are obviously going against each other, but we have kept a really good friendship. This game is really not about proving anything to anyone except to yourself and your teammates. We are just trying to compete every game. It's a big opportunity not just for me, but our team. It's a huge rivalry and always a big game.

en It was a good workout for me, ... We scored power-play goals ? that was the big difference in tonight's game. We scored three and they couldn't score on the power play. My teammates cleared the rebounds. I made the first save and the whole game, maybe once or twice, they had a second shot.

en We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

en Going into the Valley for a weeknight game is never very easy, and we certainly didn't bring our A game. Our inability to put the ball in the hoop and Shelton's defense made for an exciting game. We made a push in the fourth quarter.

en It'll be an interesting game. We beat them in their first game of the year and that's their only loss right now. I think we match up well against them. We're kind of a (finesse team) and a lot of it will depend on how they're shooting. (Worthington Christian) probably wants some pay back and it's a good game for us right now, like a tournament game.

en We had an unbelievable third quarter as far as defensively. In the fourth quarter, we kind of let our guard down, thought the game was over, and those guys made a push, made it into the game. But when we needed to execute and get a stop, we did.

en We played a strong game overall, but we made some critical mistakes and a good player made us pay. We can't give a player like Dubinsky that much open ice.
