en College was a great time. I partied there, but I also learned how to act.

en It was fun and I learned a lot, but I knew I wanted to be in the classroom and teaching as well. A college coach is full-time and you are on the road recruiting. I learned a lot and brought it to high school level.

en Robbie was great and put me in a lot of situations, a lot of power play and a lot of penalty kill. Any time you can get a year of pro experience under your belt is great. Coming right of college I needed to adjust to the pro game from college and that season was great for me.

en He's a great guy to throw to. I've thrown to him a couple of years now between college and the Minors, and he's a great guy behind the plate. I trust throwing to him. His size hasn't been an issue for me. He just might not have grown into his body yet. He's still young, like all of us here. But he's learned how to call and catch from a great pitching coach [Troy Buckley at LBS]. And for me, personally, he calls a good game.

en Boy, we partied, man. They were crazy days, man. Just partying all the time. We'd go surfing - Heath taught me to surf - and we'd get up at 6am and take off to the northern beaches and surf in the sunrise, and then cruise around, and girls and beer and parties.

en He learned at the feet of the master, ... To have someone full-time for basketball issues is a great, great situation.
