I've been here before. It's not like I'm new to the situation. It's not like if they tell me I'm going to Triple A, I'm not going to break down, cry or go down there and get mad and not work. I've been there before. So I'm ready to handle any situation that is thrown at me.

Definitely, me being a competitor, I like to get even. No one likes to get beat down. For me pitching to the Yankees twice, I tried to look at it in a positive way. Just as well as I can do bad, I can go out and do good. I'm ready to handle any challenge. It's fun going out there and compete against guys who can hit.

It's a comforting thing. If you get beat up by a team, and you come back against the same team, and you do pretty well, it shows once you get knocked down in a tunnel you're not going to give up. You come back stronger the next time.

We'll see how it goes from there. As far as leaving it out there, I gave it my best.

I can't worry about what I can't control. Of course, you know, I felt that overall I had a decent Spring Training. I'll go down, continue to work hard, and try and get better.

I could have pitched better, but the team backed me up and we got the win.

I try not to think about it, and if it's hurting, try not to show it. If it was that big a deal and I couldn't pitch with it, I wouldn't pitch. A lot of times in baseball, you're not 100 percent. It depends on how mentally strong you are. That's what it all comes down to.

A five-run lead just makes you that much more aggressive. You want to bear down and keep a lead when you have one.

Having a five-run lead after one inning was a definite confidence booster, ... I felt pretty strong. I tried to make them hit the ball and cut down on my walks.

The big hits they had were where I was behind in the count and I had to come at them. They got the hits when they needed to.

It wasn't necessarily my best start, but it wasn't necessarily my worst start.

My mind frame is that I'm going to break (camp) with the team and contribute to the team like I know I can. Any thought of the minor leagues hasn't crossed my mind. I'm going in focused on one goal, one mission.

My first thought when I got here was 'Maybe I should have stayed home. But I love to dance, so I stayed.
