I'm disappointed I couldn't get Hines the ball more to get him 1,000 yards. To me, that kills me. That's my fault. Unfortunately, I can't go back in time and do it, or else I would.

I'm more comfortable now. Last year, it was kind of 'Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous and scared, here we go. Don't make a mistake.' I'm not going to go out and play not to make a mistake this year. I'm going to go out to win football games.

It helps some to be able to run. But traditionally, you don't get much (running) outside the pocket in the playoffs. It's a time when you try to play to your strengths. For most quarterbacks, running isn't a strong point, is it?

I always talk about how I feel I can be a better quarterback, but just because I feel like I'm more experienced and better doesn't mean I'm going to play better. You'd like to think so. But with Carson as their quarterback, and as good as he is, I don't think their lack of experience will hurt them too much.

Hines is trying to make it like its some high school photo or something. It's an old photo.

There are still some throws it's still painful with and I don't quite have the zip I normally do or the spin on the ball but it's coming along and hopefully we'll get it healed up soon.

The last time we played them at home, we threw a lot more. I think if we don't turn the ball over, then we probably win that game. So if it comes down to that, I think we can (win).

I feel that I'm not losing the game for our team. I'm trying to give us the best opportunity to win the football game. I did everything I could to lose the Jets game but we won. And the Patriots game, I didn't play well. I think that this year, I just come out and play smart football. I got some good advice the other day (from CBS Sports' Dan Dierdorf): Every drive that ends in a kick is a good drive.

I think we did a good job; give our offensive line a lot of credit. We did all silent count. We went on two, on three, mixed it up. They did a phenomenal job up front of being disciplined.

They are an opportunistic team. They make a lot of plays, they always seem to be around the ball. The ball bounces their way a lot, and that is a credit to them.

I have no problem with that because I want to come out and take care of the things I have to deal with. If you don't turn the ball over and you do the things you're supposed to do, you give your team a better chance of winning.

I don't think anybody is picking us to win. We're going to go in and obviously try to find a way to just put a few points on the board and compete.

I'm just trying to take it one step at a time and be better prepared for everything that is thrown my way and just making sure mentally that I'm sharp.

They got to me a couple of times, ... They bring [pass rushers] from all different angles. They have people moving all over the place.
