Next year is the only future I've looked at. It's going to be starting over and trying to re-establish a group of guys that is going to be different than it was this year. But I can tell you that next week I'm going to be doing a lot of reflecting, and enjoying every moment of it.

That last win at Indy probably helped us more than anything else because it allowed us to prepare for the noise we had to deal with on the road in the playoffs.

We had rested some linemen and he ran against a defense that that was near the top of the National Football League. He got over 100 yards and broke a run.

We've been close many times, have lost [four] AFC Championship Games, so you certainly cherish the opportunity.

We've all had heroes, and I know Jack Lambert was for me because I was a defensive guy.

What the team did in the 1970s was kind of put Pittsburgh on the map. It became a city of champions, and you had the Pirates winning and the Penguins winning.

I'd like nothing greater than to be able to hand [owner] Mr. [Dan] Rooney the trophy.

Unbelievable, words can't describe it.

I just saw him briefly after the game. It was kind of a whirlwind. I'm sure we'll talk in the next couple of days. I've never been one to stop anybody from having an opportunity to live out a dream ... If he wants any advice from me, I'd give it to him, but certainly the decision would be his.

I think the pass to Hines was just a great call by Whiz.

I think it's a great analogy.

History was not going to dictate our fate, but our effort can make history. Maybe it was a little bit of a stretch with Columbus, but they kind of enjoyed that analogy. I had to explain a lot of it. I kind of happened to lose some people.
