I don't know on paper if we're better or not.

I know people are getting impatient. But enjoy baseball right now.

There is no change, but a decision could come at any time. Maybe a decision will come within the next week.

I don't play the game for records. I play to win games. No one wants to go through a 4-12 season again, and if I do come back it will be because I think this team can win in 2006.

I could decide in a few days or a few minutes. I know it's not fair to the Packers, the fans or the media to keep people waiting. And I'm pretty sure those close to me in my family would like for me to make up my mind. But I can't say right now exactly when that will be.

What did you guys waste a trip down here for? Y'all brought the cold weather, too.

I guess, ultimately, it comes down to just whether or not you want to play and run the risk of being 4-12 again. There's always that risk, and the chance of us being 12-4. I would probably be more surprised if we were 12-4.

The Packers and I will make a decision at some point soon. When that happens, I'll let you know. (The decision) could come at any time. People take these comments and turn them around. A couple of weeks, or a couple of days, become a couple of minutes.

In my case, going 4-12 ... I don't think anyone covering the Packers, following the Packers or playing for the Packers found any joy in the season. (Football is) in my blood. As time has passed, I've thought less about 4-12. My stance is ... I love to play the game.

If you know me, you're not concerned about that comment. Do I think they'll cut me? No. Do I have any hard feelings toward Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy? No. My decision is not based on Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy.

I'd like to say I think we are better, but I don't know if we are. I don't make those decisions, never asked to. ... I know when we signed Reggie White (in 1993), we knew we were going to be better right away. We have to make a statement again.

The fact is, I don't have anything to tell you. And I don't know why anyone would assume that I would.

I don't know why you all wasted a trip down here.

He really has been the face of that team for the last 10 or 11 years, the one bright spot really. To be treated that way, I think, is really unfair. He doesn't deserve it. ... It is not right.
