We had to play defense. We didn't get the stop we needed and that's that.

In order for us to be close, I have to bring my 'A' game. It's fine. I'm mentally strong, and I've been doing this for years. It's not really something that's tough for me. I just come out and play hard and give effort.

I answer that a lot. If I had to pick it over, I would pick Duquesne all over again. I like Duquesne. The campus is small; I like the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we didn't do as well as we could. It's like a lot of things. You take it as a life lesson.

Things happen for a reason. A group of people I was hanging around with, you try to separate yourself from those type of people. You learn from your mistakes. I got an earful from my grandmother and my parents, and they were saying it was because of the people I surrounded myself with. It was the people you grew up with. I learned a valuable lesson.

You might as well play hard. That's why we're playing. I don't see a reason to quit or give up. We'll see if we can steal a few wins down the stretch. The younger guys can learn from this season and try to get better.

I just go out and play every game like it's my last. I try to get better and do what I can do to help the team. That's all I'm focused on. It just so happens I'm having a pretty good season. But it doesn't mean anything if you're not winning.

You do what you've always done. Negativity will always bring you down. It's been challenging to stay focused all the time. It's frustrating, but I think positive all the time for some reason.

There's nothing to lose and we're playing to have fun. We're playing with pride. We don't want to get embarrassed, but we're trying to win. Doing the best we can.

At this point, we're just trying to have fun and do the best we can. We don't want to go out there and get rolled.

Everybody is pointing the finger. You cannot put all the blame on (Nee). We have to take some of the blame.

Everyone is in this together. We're in this for Duquesne, and not for ourselves.

It makes you play harder. You've got to step up. ... Everybody is contributing.

I'm extremely proud of the guys. We played together. We shared the ball. If we can give that type of effort every game, we'll definitely be tough to beat.

Our effort just wasn't there in the first half.

We didn't pay as much attention to McCrae as we should have and he popped out on us. He kept on getting open looks. He kept on making them and we didn't stop him. We kept on giving him open looks like that. Like, who can't make those?
