We have to adjust our defense to a certain play. We've done it every year since I've been here. It was really ridiculous, the call. You can't blame a game on the ref. You can't do it. It was just really weird to have that call happen because if you adjust your defense you have to do it. What do you want us to do?

We did not play Iowa football and you have to give credit to Iowa State. ISU was prepared and shut us down.

Right now we're feeling pretty good about our special teams. We've had a great punting game, our protection's been good and I think our kickoff team's one of the best in the Big Ten, right now.

I've been sitting here listening to the people say, 'Gator Bait' all day.

I don't know if I was offside or not. It was just typical of what the referees did today. But give Florida credit. They beat us.

That was typical of what the refs were doing today. But it's not about that. It's about Florida beating us. They outplayed us today.

I couldn't believe it. You go back to the Northwestern game, and those who know what happened in that game, it was the complete opposite. Typically on a kickoff, you're going to have a guy who's maybe a foot over the line. It's just hard to imagine that that's the way it went down after we really executed well on the onside and got the ball back.

Everything has gone well for me this week. I think I've done enough to improve my stock this week.

It's been good having Abdul here this week. We've been together for the last four years. We've complemented each other on the field over the years at Iowa, but this week, we're here to improve ourselves in front of the NFL.

I didn't get a lot of opportunity to do that in college. We're not a real blitz team. I think I have that ability and when I did get that opportunity in college I was pretty successful. I think I'd be a great fit, especially as an outside rusher but I also have the physical ability of being an inside rusher too. I definitely could help a team strengthen their blitz package.

I sent a lot of tape out, trying to get someone to bite. Basically, Iowa saw the film, liked what they saw and decided to offer me.

He seems really tough. A couple of times, I teed off on him, but he got right back up and made a big play.

We were part of the team that started it and to be part of the team that ended it wouldn't be something to be proud of. I don't know what makes it such a great advantage. I just know that as a player, you feel so much more comfortable at home.

We're a team that needs to improve. That's what we know we are. We're a team that isn't satisfied with where we're at. We're a team that makes too many mistakes on defense and we need to shore that up.

We've just got to come together. We have to play Iowa football. We didn't do that, but give the credit to Iowa State. They came out ready to go. They're obviously a very talented team and they had a lot of weapons and shut us down.
