It hit me, and I was lucky enough for it to go in. But I guess they saw it differently.

We're just keeping things simple. Philly's a great team, and I thought we did a good job of getting behind their 'D' and making things happen and coming through the neutral zone with speed. After the first period I think we were a little slow, but we got going as the game went on. We blocked shots and killed penalties, and to win games you have to do that.

Typical Devils-type game. They wait for you to make a mistake. They've been playing that way for a long time.

He's our best player on our team. Any time your best player isn't around to help out, it makes it tough. I think we still had some chances after that and still made some things happen. It would have definitely helped out if he had been there, though.

Hopefully, they can rip it up. It should be pretty fun.

Do the math. Look at the points he's accumulated for this team and the force he is on the ice when he has the puck and is moving. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it hurts us pretty good.

Fleury definitely gave us a chance to win the game. He made a lot of big saves.

One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

We figure out how many games do we have left; how many (points) do you have; it's a big thing for him and there's a lot of pressure on him. It's not something we necessarily talk about, but we do the math. It would be a great achievement.

I think we just started to play hockey. It was pretty torturous for the first two periods there. We had a few brief moments in there where we did play good or looked all right, but, for the most part, we looked like a pee-wee team out there.

Yeah, definitely, it's a pretty big thing. I know in interviews he says he's not thinking about it, but I think everyone kind of knows better. ... For everyone having such a tough year here, I think to have a guy achieve that this year would be great for our team.

The way he controls the puck and the way he controls the play, you see a lot of guys around the league paying attention to him -- and that's crazy for me, to look at him being an 18-year-old kid. When he gets that puck, he makes things happen. It's pretty special to watch him play the way he does. When he's at the top of his game, he's up there with the top players in the league.

When he threw his arms out there at the end, it looked like his hands were touching both ends of the rink, he's so big.

He doesn't like to talk about it. He wants to focus on playing. But it would be a great accomplishment for an 18-year-old kid - and, with all the things we've been through this season, it's great we still have something to shoot for.
