Her performance was exactly what they needed for them to be able to beat us. She really brought it. She was impossible for us to stop.

Baylor was awesome at the foul line. They stepped up at the end and made them like butter.

Claire was just tremendous tonight across the boards. I just feel that it is obvious she is playing her best basketball this season. Going into this tournament, I am just completely convinced that she is going to assert herself as the best player in the tournament. I think she is that good.

I think that the environment here going into overtime, and during the game, was very much in our favor. I thought both teams really brought it.

We've played at home; we've had every advantage. But it still came down to the last possession (against Western Kentucky). What I'll remember about this tournament is how challenging the field has been.

Freshmen lining up against one of the best players in the history of the Big 12, that will help them be better in their own games offensively and knowing what to do defensively if we get into the postseason.

It's a great statement of how quality basketball is supported here in the Manhattan community. Our fans were tremendous. I just can't say enough about how rare it is to have a packed house for women's basketball.

When it's over, she will have put numbers on the board that will validate her greatness. I think that's unusual to be able to say about a freshman point guard competing in the level of competition that we do.

I thought about the fans and how incredible it was for us to have competed in that environment. I thought about our players and just how proud I was of how tough-minded they had become as competitors and how happy I was for them. I thought about our staff and how hard they've worked.

We got a real education from a real quick, aggressive, assertive defensive basketball team.

She was effective inside and out. She got good post-up position. She really jumped in at that point and got active and assertive.

It was just a dog fight every possession. It wasn't pretty. It was a real defensive battle. In the end, I'm just glad we came out on top.
