We've never had a guy learn it that fast.

We'd be crazy to say we're not concerned about it.

I hope everyone understands -- this game needed to be played. The only question was where it was going to be played. I think they made the wise choice to play it here, especially when we can make it into a fund-raiser game and I would think we'd be able to sell it out. I don't really think about the advantages or disadvantages. We're going to play a football game against a heck of a team.

I have no idea what it's like. I know everybody is all fired up at other schools when they get it. It's a great opportunity for fans and students to show we have the kind of passion for college football they have in other parts of the country. I hope there's a great turnout (to watch and cheer Saturday) and they have a great time with it.

Punt coverage has been a little bit up and down. We've worked hard on it and have made a couple changes. We're trying to play to our strengths and hide our weaknesses.

Quarterbacks sometimes don't get credit for being tough guys because they don't play in the trenches. But anyone who watched a tape of that game, Sam definitely demonstrated toughness.

We have impressive numbers on offense. Their numbers just blow our numbers away.

He looks like he has two capes instead of one. He looks fantastic. Reggie Bush is phenomenal. That guy touches the ball, and everyone in the stadium holds their breath.

Now I think Zach is back where he needs to be.

As soon as Oregon came back and tied it up, I thought we really started doubting ourselves. I could feel our players on the sideline doubting if we were going to be OK. You can't play this game that way.

(The bye week) would probably be better if we were coming off a win, but it is what it is. We've got to make the best of it at this point.

Their philosophy has been to make you a one-dimensional offense. By Oregon's choice, they try to make you one-dimensional that you have to throw the ball. That plays to our strength.

Our team [on Sunday], we were hurting. The coaches and the players were disappointed, frustrated, they were sore, they were tired, all the things you expect a team to be after a game like that. But we don't play Oregon on Sunday, and we don't play them [Monday]. I'm very confident in the leaders and captains of our team. Our guys know what's at stake.

We have to have a sense of urgency (on special teams). When we line up to punt in either of our formations, that's going to be an important play. My heart is going to be beating.
