We can say that was the turning point. You can have two or three other things that were downfalls and did the thing, too. But that's the one that probably stood out the most. That was an obvious top-five finish that we let go. I'm trying to forget that.

If you know the sport, you knew Greg was a dominant driver. It was just a matter of time before things were going to start clicking for him (in Nextel Cup).

I don't think he's got the recognition or the fan backing I think he deserves. He is a really good guy, and maybe everybody doesn't see that.

It's a shame ... so many times this year we've had a good car and we just can't complete it. We certainly don't have the luck going our way this year, but we can turn it around.

Some of the things are in our control, some of the things are out of our control. The one thing we do have in our control is to try to keep the car running like it's running. The performance of the cars, the performance of the team, is there.

I hope it don't continue on too long. When is that point in time when it happens? Hopefully soon, because we have the goal of the top 10 in mind, and we've got to make up that 160 points right now to be able to get in there.

It's had some body updates, but it is also the same car we finished seventh with at Atlanta last weekend.

We do feel that the competition is closing in on us but we had a pretty dominant run in the spring and I think there's room for improvement. We're going to start with the same set-up we used in June and then try some new things to see what works best. We need to get the momentum back that we had in the first half of the year and this could be the race to do it.

Everybody wants to win and had all the ability to win. And I think the push of another teammate of yours is good because you can get slack, you can think you've got it figured out but in order to stay on top you need to keep striving for the best.

What we've done to get all five teams in the position where they are right now is not by hiding information from each other. We're operating strong as a crew. We have to continue to operate strong because we need to try to work on finishing one through five next and we can do it, I think, if we continue to work together.

We're attacking these final tracks with 120% of our effort and we're going there with the plan to win and lead every lap.

The new body we put on it is along the same lines as the one we raced at California and we feel pretty good about that performance.

You could say being a coach is a good description nowadays. We definitely don't do as much hands-on work on the care as we used to.

I like to have fun, because this sport is what it is. You can make it bad or you can make it good. Naturally, when things are going good, it's easy to get along. But I try to take the low times and make them good. If something's going bad and you just throw your arms in the air, it's not going to fix things.

We can sit here and watch these cars go around all day long, but he knows what they feel like. And where Greg has really come along is now Greg knows what the car needs to feel like to win.
