I had a chance to sit down and talk, and [ Andy Reid] let me know where I stood and where I stand. That's all I ever wanted.

It's a great feeling knowing that we get a chance to take Jerome back home. That's all he wanted all year. So now, the destination for Jerome is Detroit.

Those words really ring in my head right now. Of course, I would like for him to be here -- and, if he couldn't be here, to be in the hospital watching. But one thing you do know is that he's here in spirit.

And especially being in the situation he was in, knowing he had cancer, knowing that unexpected day would come. ... Death is always unexpected, no matter if they put a time on (how long you have to live). I'm just blessed to be able to live out one of his goals.

Even though my mom and dad were divorced, she was still there, she was still by his side (in the hospital).

I knew my dad wanted me to be here.

I expected it to work again.

No idea; I don't know yet.

It hasn't been bad at all. I've been dealing with injuries. I've been healthy for some games, and some games not. That's the part that's been tough. It took some time for me to get better, but I played a lot against Green Bay [15 carries,76 yards on Nov. 6] and Cleveland [17 carries, 64 yards on Nov. 13].

I'm not thinking about that right now. I'm just focused on the Super Bowl with everybody else.

It was a lot of rehab that was experimental with that injury. There was not a lot of knowledge as far as rehabbing and strengthening the foot, so we had actually try a lot of things, but it worked and I'm definitely thankful for it.

I didn't get involved in an altercation. That happened in the club, but that didn't involve me. I wasn't robbed, and I had my 2 earrings. I lost my bracelet, that's all.

I had to file a police report in order to have it replaced by my insurance company. I wasn't robbed and I wasn't in some altercation.

Those guys are talented man, ... It's just all about experience now. You saw what they can do, you saw Willie break the long run, Verron catching passes and picking up blitzes and stuff. There's talent out there, you just have to utilize it on the field.
