I felt good this morning, especially in that first spell and I hit my rhythm in the fifth or sixth over and then I was on my way, but I just tried to remain a bit more patient and tried to get the ball in the right areas.

I've never felt better. I feel probably got better as the game went on. Yesterday I was really happy with the way it came out, plenty of energy, even when the game finished. It was a long day in the field but I still had a lot left in the tank.

I first saw Rudolph in South Africa and I think he made a double ton against us in a tour match. He's always had that potential. He is a pretty decent player. He showed yesterday that he can bat for along time and really knuckle down and save a test match.

Ricky did float it around the boys. It wasn't a decision he made by himself, so all the guys are happy.

I've always enjoyed bowling to Jacques and I've knocked him over a few times.

We had an old Melbourne-type pitch in Perth, so I guess it would be only fitting if we had a traditionally fast Perth-type pitch in Melbourne.

The thing that disappoints me most is a lot of wickets around Australia are losing their character. It would be disappointing if all wickets around Australia are identical.

I am not trying to think about the possibility that my tour might be over, but the next 48 hours should settle the issue once and for all, ... While I have more or less conceded it is highly unlikely I will be fit in time to play the third Test at Old Trafford, I still have my sights set firmly on the fourth Test at Trent Bridge.

I guess having been a reasonably accurate bowler in my day, I can identify with Glenn's bowling. I would certainly love to spend a few minutes with him to teach him to let the ball go with a bit more angle on the seam and every now and then make the ball bend away in the air.

Glenn's not home, I'm waiting for him. It is now a police investigation, which means I can't say anything.

It's back to business as usual for the fifth Test. I've made a full recovery and will definitely play at The Oval, ... It has been so frustrating sitting out two of the first four tests, but now I can get at the England batsmen in the decider.

Ideally he is best used in shorter spells but he can still bowl longer spells at great pace.

[And what about those two Gayle sixes?] I got the length slightly wrong, a little bit too full and wide, ... He's the type of guy who can do that but he can get out just as easily. He is a dangerous batsman but I probably learned more than he did by hitting those sixes.
