This group needs time to progress.

It was easier for Ben last year (as a rookie) because we had veterans, guys like myself, 'Plex' (Plaxico Burress) and Antwaan, ... This year, myself and Antwaan are really the only veteran guys. Cedrick is coming in from a new system, and Lee hasn't played much. But I'm not too concerned. It's just a matter of us getting on the same page.

We're still going to run the ball first and set up our pass game through the run game. That's our identity, and we're not going to change that because Duce or Jerome's injured.

As far as the city and him with cornrows and stuff, they love everybody,

The fans here know football. They know the guys who produce and give it all they've got, and they appreciate it. To sit there and say the city had it out against him, I don't really go along with that. I saw a lot of No. 80 (Burress) jerseys in the stands.

He is a big pickup in my opinion. With the addition of Quincy, and we put him out there in our four wides, we are going to have four great receivers on the field and it is going to give us a lot of versatility. There is no question he is a great addition to the team. I am excited.

We're in a rhythm now. I'm playing full-time now - we're not coming off the field after one quarter or one half. ... Ben's getting on the same page as everybody, and now everybody's playing full-time.

We'd love to have more pass attempts, but it all depends on how the game is going, ... If we run the ball well, why stop? But when we're called upon, we've got to make the plays in the passing game.

Of course, all wide receivers want to catch all the balls, ... But the game plan that day was for us to go out and run the ball. I only had two attempts, so I made the most of it.

I don't really worry about that,

I'm hoping nobody picks him up because I really think he has an opportunity to really be special. I want to watch him grow and grow. In a couple years, you're going to be talking about him.

We dominated ... and we still lost. Hard to forget that one.

We can look back at that game all we want, but I think there was a lesson to be learned in it. You can put up all the numbers, but if you don't hang onto the ball and you shoot yourself in the foot, you're not going to win. It's something for us to keep in mind when we play them this time.

This is my second full game, and things are starting to slow down more. I'm going to continue to get better, and Ben [Roethlisberger] and the receivers are going to continue to grow as a group. I still don't feel 100 percent right on the same page with Ben...When we get on the same page, we're going to be an explosive offense.
