There's pressure. Hopefully, it's going to bring out the best in everybody here, the pressure that we have on our shoulders right now.

Everybody around the league, every market, feel they have a chance to be in the playoffs and do good. I think that's great for the game, but it's stressful for everybody around here.

This is what the NHL wants. It's stressful for everyone around here, but that's OK.

That's pretty much what it comes down to right now - winning. Our accent now is we just have to win our games. You focus more on games like (tonight). It doesn't matter if it is on the road or at home. You are ready already. . . . You know that night you are going to bring your 'A' game because it's do or die right now.

It's great to see, because you've got guys around the league who think they're bigger than the game. He's not one of them, for sure. And just the work ethic - every hour he puts in the gym all year. I've never seen a guy work out that much in the gym - ever.

When you're on the power play you get the momentum rolling for you, even when you don't score. You drain the guys who are killing penalties.

It was a big win for us.

I'm not a goalie expert, but he looked great. He moved well. His feet were moving fast. It might have been the best thing for him to jump in there without expecting it.

By killing all those penalties, momentum built our way. That's the way they call the game right now and you've got to deal with it. If they want to call everything, I'm fine with it.

We're climbing. I should know, I'm watching the standings every morning. But we want to make sure we're in better shape.

He's always been a great goalie. It's just that he played in the shadow of Eddie Belfour when he was in Dallas. I know guys that have had tough times in the playoffs. They like to rebound and show the world they are playoff players. He is a more mature goalie now.

Nobody panicked. That's what I like about this team. We're an older team and we've got a lot of guys who have been through that. We got a goal right away and our special teams did a heck of a job.

You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

Dallas has too many great leaders, great veterans to let it get to 3-0. They will come hard, and it is the playoffs. You can't get comfortable.

Especially in the playoffs, it's so tight as a forward you always have a guy on you. When you got the 'D' joining the rush, it kind of opens up things. All those guys have been playing great offensively.
