He didn't panic when things didn't come to him. What Chad has is a lot of patience.

When they signed him, they envisioned him as a slash-type of player. Once they saw his mobility and arm strength, they said 'This kid can play.' He could be starting at corner, safety or linebacker for that team.

That's our strength right there. Our first string (defense) has yet to give up any points this year. This might be our finest defense ever.

Michael's another one that will be a key to our success.

Eric is probably one of the most dominating defensive players we've ever had at Palma. He hustles all over the field all the time, and he's usually the one making the tackle. There are a lot of teams out there that are going to regret not offering Eric a scholarship.

Their offensive line gets off the ball. De La Salle is a team that will wear you down. They are a team that will come out and hit you. But so are we.

The strength of our team has been our defense.

When colleges see film of his last couple of games, there will be more. We moved him to the inside so he can make plays. He covers the entire field. You can't run away from him.

I did not even expect Jeff to start. He just came in and took the position. He closes fast on the ball. He's a solid run stopper.

One of the reasons we wanted Jordan to play quarterback is he's such a threat with the ball. He takes pride in taking care of the football. He doesn't make ill-advised pitches. Not all quarterbacks think that way.

Kyle makes all the line calls. You watch him. He'll get up to the line, look at the defense and start barking out calls. He's irreplaceable.
