You have to say it's still early. I'm very pleased and ecstatic and all that, but when you've got 24 more of them --Right now, we've got a team that's going in the right direction.

He's just got to get to where he can throw other pitches for a strike, especially behind in the count.

It was a great game. We had a great crowd, a great atmosphere and it was a well played game. It was all you could ask for today.

(Johnson) got better as the game went along. We were fortunate to get the early lead. We did not have a lot of opportunities and took advantage of them. It all kind of worked for us today.

It was a great baseball game with great pitching. One team gets a hit with runners on base and the other does not. That was the difference in the game. Nebraska had a great crowd and this was a good ballgame all the way around.

This was certainly a game of inches and Bentley's ball was just foul.

We made some pitches, made some plays and dodged a bullet there. In all these games, you can sense when it's getting ready to happen. I was real proud of our team that they controlled the damage there.

It pretty much came down to the double play we didn't turn. At least we keep the lead there. It was a hard-fought game. We didn't get guys in. We had our shot.

It was a win. I would have liked for us to have played a little sharper. We had some base-running issues, three that come to mind. It was another middle of the week survival.

In this league, before it's all over, we may face two more No. 1 teams. As crazy as it sounds, we kind of get used to it in the Southeastern Conference. You'd better be at your best no matter who you play.

We hung on to win another middle of the week game. Avila and Bush hit home runs and accounted for three of our five runs tonight.

There's a whole lot of factors, and the more I do it, the less I seem to know about it. All the teams are better, and maybe the top two or three teams aren't what the top two or three teams used to be.

Now it's to a point where you can play well and maybe get swept.

I'm very happy with our kids. They're giving a good effort. They're finding a way to win, and with different ways. It's a team, up to this point, where you don't know who's going to do it, but they're doing it.

One thing about our team is that each week there is someone different stepping up. That has been our story all season.
