It's going to be a tough opening month. I think most of us are just looking forward to getting the season going and looking forward to the challenge of it. Hopefully we can get off to a good start and play the best baseball right away because it's not going to be an easy stretch.

I think fantasy is a good thing, it creates interest. I don't think about it much. It's not like I go out and try to perform for a fantasy team, but I think they are good to create interest and not just in baseball.

They were loud. Every pitch, every strike, they got louder and louder. I wish it could be like that all season. I wish they'd come back.

My thought was just to try to get ahead on strikes and make sure I'm around the plate. It's been a while since I've been out there, so in those situations you never know how you will react.

I think J.C. is in a better spot mentally, so I think it was more along the lines of that than him trying to stir up anything with us.

These guys are doing what they have to do right now to put runs on the board, especially when we as a staff aren't doing as well as we'd like to. We still have to pick up some slack and when we do, hopefully we can pick them up sometimes, too.

It's kind of like in golf where you switch between the front nine to the back nine. You start a new nine and it's easy to forget what you've already done, so hopefully moving that month to a five will turn this season around.

The last two outings were as sharp as we've seen him. Hopefully he's through his little slow start and on the right track. And now maybe other guys feed off what he's doing.

By the end of the season, one will be entrenched as the Twins' stopper and it's a very good chance that it will be Nathan.

Sounds awesome. He's going to do nothing but help us, and hopefully he'll get back to his old form. Hopefully it'll be like the Shannon Stewart trade.
